Marseille · Provence — South of France
Our home in Marseille and the showroom of Maison LAROGY. When we're travelling, we open the doors: temporary furnished living for film crews, productions, creative professionals and anyone else who'd rather arrive in a real home than a hotel room.
The Apartment
This apartment is our main residence in Marseille and at the same time the showroom of Maison LAROGY, where we put furniture, materials and colours into our own walls before they show up anywhere else. Because we travel a lot for work, the apartment regularly stands empty, and exactly then we open it up for temporary furnished living: for film crews, creative professionals, travellers who don't want to land in a hotel room but in a real home.
A design-rich apartment in true Marseille style, with terracotta tomettes, coral pink, terrazzo and vintage furniture from the Maison LAROGY universe. Built for longer stays: film crews, stylists, editors, artists and architects, anyone needing a real home in Marseille for a while, not another hotel night.
About this house
This apartment is not owned by a rental company. It's owned by us personally. Maison LAROGY, a small design studio based in Carinthia and Marseille. It's our main residence and at the same time the place where we put our furniture, fabrics and colour concepts into actual use before they appear anywhere else. What you see in the gallery is the studio's current work.
Because our own work takes us abroad often, the apartment regularly stands empty, and in those windows we deliberately don't rent it as a hotel room or weekend Airbnb. We open it as temporary furnished living for people who have something to do in Marseille for a few weeks: film crews, production companies, editorial teams, architects, stylists, artists, writers and anyone else looking for a real place over another hotel room.
Beyond that, the apartment can also be booked as a film and photo shoot location. More on that below.
